If you and your baby are home before your mate, the activity/game of the day is to build a simple fort with a sheet draped over a large table and wait to be discovered. I recommend strategically placed binder clips to secure the loose edges.
To make it fun for the baby, bring pillows and small toys in with you.
To make it funny for you, make sure you’re in there hiding when someone gets home.
Hilarious.

We love making forts and hiding places at our house. Sometimes the kids just like to hang out in their own cozy little space and their bedrooms seem too big for them. Pillows, blankets or the beanbag make them extra cozy. Add a few stuffies and they’re happy for hours.
Now that warm weather is here, I want to attempt an outdoor fort “thing”. Might look for instructions on a teepee or simple pup tent and get some thick canvas-type fabric.
Fun!
Fun! Sometimes I help my son build forts but he never lets me in them. They are his special, private place. I hope that’s not a preview of his teenage years
