Holy hell. I remember when you first posted this. Has it really been that long?? Then again I started reading your site before my boys were born and they’re almost 4.

Here is my signature cocktail that I made up this fall. Trader Joe’s pomengranate limeade, triple sec, and orange vodka. Feel free to steal. I justify it because of the antioxidants.

Can I also be the one to say the top three things are get a will, get life insurance, and get your moles checked? I went in for what I thought was a slightly abnormal mole and had TWO OTHERS turn out to be melanoma. Good thing I had life insurance before that little surprise. And it’s also the reason I made up my signature drink, lots of life contemplation after that experience.

Audio books definitely count. If you’re still not sure, remind yourself that they take longer than reading it often would, so you’re putting in enough work and still hear every word the author wrote (it’s not like you’re Cliff’s Noting them, after all)!

You can totally do #23! Ride the little tiger roller coaster at the Oakland Zoo! It takes all of 2 minutes, it’s not scary and Holden can even go on it with you (probably not Milo though).
