I just started cloth diapering and really love FuzziBunz, Bum Genius 4.0 and Rumparooz. All 3 are pocket style diapers and for someone who never used them until our 2nd daughter, I can say they are great to use. Good Luck!

Beautiful pregnancy pics! I've got 5 kids, 25, 20,19, 7 and 17 months...so I've been a rookie mom a couple of times. I think one of the best things about being a mom again (any kids after a first) is how much more confident you feel. You've done it and although all kids are a little different you kinda (usually) know what to expect! That poor first trial and error kid! Congrats!

What beautiful pictures! I admire any woman who can take a pic of herself while pregnant and look so stunning! My second son is almost 9 months old and I'm truly amazed at what a different experience it is. The upside: you are far braver with the things that you attempt to do with the baby. I took my little one to get a pedicure once! I couldn't get over myself. I would never have tried that with my first. The downside: I find I haven't made as many new friends because the baby shadows my toddler's current routines. My friend and I joke that our little ones don't have any "friends." Just their older siblings and their sibs' friends. Good luck and get to the hospital quickly! That second one doesn't mess around!

My fave cloth diapers are the Flip system and the BumGenius 4.0s w/ snaps. :) You would probably need something else though for the tiny newborn stage. Good luck!

We did the covers/prefolds when my daughter was a newborn, but wanted one kind of diaper to get us to potty training. We bought a load of Bum Genius Elementals and have not looked back. Love, love, love them. Have added doublers as necessary as my daughter has grown, but still using them and fully intend to keep them all for #2.

How lucky baby #2 will have such a great big sister!! I am chiming in on the cloth diaper thing because I have tried many and researched many... cloth diaper die hards can get really crazy about sharing their experiences and their preferences. To each his own, every baby is different but I think Nicki at Nicki's Diaper has taken the best of ALL of them Flip, Bumgenius... you name it and created the Best Bottom Diaper. No stuffing, great absorbency, amazing covers with leg gussets - it truly is a combo of the best, and her website shows the comparison: www.nickisdiapers.com. I've actually been to both shops in Wisconsin - she sells a lot of brands, but the ones she has created have been amazing. I've been using them since I discovered them when my daughter was about 6 months. She is 14 months now. I wash what I have every 2 days, and they look as good as the first day I bought them... AND my daycare even uses them without any problems. I send Nicki created Planetwise "wet bags", and it works well. All the best!
