BABIES opens on Mother’s Day weekend. We think you should grab your mama and your baby and see for yourself!
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Thomas Balmès, BABIES simultaneously follows four babies around the world – from birth to first steps. The children are Ponijao (Opuwo, Namibia), Bayar (Mongolia, near Bayanchandmani), Mari (Tokyo, Japan) and Hattie (San Francisco).
I posted my full review of the movie on our Reviews tab. Get a flavor with this preview.

We were not paid to write this announcement or administer this contest. Unfortunately, we’re not eligible to win it either. Gah!

When my baby guy was 9 months he would make “movie star” eyes and blink really slowly when you asked for a kiss. I have no idea where he got it from but it was sooo CUTE.
Whenever we put a shirt on my son, he says “hi” to each of his hands as they come through the sleeve. It’s adorable!
…when she shouted booooo-deeeeee (translation:booty, she needed a diaper change) in a crowded NYC bus. Everyone understood and laughed aloud, causing even the most serious of faces to crack a smile!
