Last week Julian’s class held a Kindergarten celebration. The children prepared for about two weeks. Collaboratively the class wrote an invitation that was mailed home, telling their guests what to expect. I wish I knew where it was because the wording was quite charming, packed with verbs. You see, each child had chosen something to demonstrate in front of the crowd, ranging from a drawing made at home to riding a scooter across the “stage”. One boy demonstrated saving three goals kicked by the teacher and a girl told three knock-knock jokes. Each child held the spotlight for somewhere between nine and 90 seconds. Julian played the ukelele.
This video shows Julian’s song and his friend’s cool trick.
