One of the few fights Whitney and I have had in recent memory was over a dress: she was showing me her new sassy little black dress from Shabby Apple and I wanted to borrow it before she even took the tags off. Not my finest moment. The dresses from Shabby Apple are so lovely that you’ll want one too (even maternity dresses which I just found out – yay!); I only hope you can keep your dignity.
Since a post-partum Heather is not ready to share clothes with a pint-sized Whitney, she found a few choices that detract focus from my floppy belly that I could get for my own self like a 50′s-era hostess dress, formal but not formal gown, crisp waitress dress, and this boatneck dress (with pockets!).

Because of my recent journey through maternity clothes, I got excited about a few of the maternity styles too: Oh Baby shirt collar (pictured), Neapolitan maxi, and Sicily every day dress in RED.

Okay, okay with all those choices, this is my current reigning favorite style: the Sierra Nevada, but I doubt I would take it on any trail hikes.

I love love love “Tea Time”. So pretty!
The trapeze dress is adorable – I would totally wear it to work!

I LOVE the two’s company dress! We just found out we’re having our third and I really want to wear more dresses this go around! There is no reason a pregnant woman can’t be fasionable too. I’d wear it taking the kids to the park, or the beach, or maybe on a date with my husbie.

Thanks for this awesome opportunity! I love Shabby Apple products! If I had to go with one I would get the Academia dress, and wear it everywhere… well not really, but I would want to. I think that I would really want to wear it to my anniversary dinner. My husband has planned it all out as a surprise. I would love to look my best.
I’d choose L’Artiste. I’d wear it while frolicking about Paris…or, you know, Indianapolis where I actually live. It looks casual enough to wear to the zoo or Children’s Museum, and could be dressed up a little for an evening out with my hubby.
Wait a tic… they make swimwear?? I’d wear that Sutherland Point Swimsuit to do some sunning and reading on the coast. Of course, I love that Spanish Steps Dress too for my own Audrey Hepburn Roman Holiday moment.
And I think I would buy the Cider dress and wear it…everywhere. Or perhaps the Ahoy! Though I love the Pina Colada too…

Wow! I really love the “overboard” one that you liked to in the post. That would flatter my pear-shape and maybe I’d even be inspired to serve somebody lobsters.
I’d have to choose L’Artiste! It’s a perfect catch of a dress. I’d wear it while moving about Denver, CO with my tiny toddler. We go to a lot of “casual” places together. I think the bookstore or for a sunny stroll/picnic would be wonderful!
I wish the Oh Baby dress was available in non-maternity fit. I also like the Azure Coast and would wear one of these dresses on a date night with my husband. After having 2 babies within 2 years, it would be nice to actually dress up and go out.
I want the LA dress. And I’d wear probably to a lot of events – weddings, cocktail parties, etc.
I wear skirts/dresses every day, so I would probably wear it on a walk to the park with the kids, or maybe to the grocery store…And I’m pregnant, so I love their maternity selections. I actually think the black maxi options would look great pairs with some simple sandals to go just about everywhere!
I would pick the Bow Baby dress. http://www.shabbyapple.com/p-291-bow-baby.aspx.
I just found out yesterday that I’m expecting our 3rd, and last baby! Totally excited that I can enter this! If I had this dress I would pair it with a pair of leggings for every day wear with chasing my two sons (3 1/2 and 2 years old). Or, for fancier occasions I’d wear it as is with some nice jewelry, and go out with my husband. Ideally we could go out to dinner with this dress a week or two before the new one arrived as a mini “baby moon”.
I might get the Tres Jolie dress. I can imagine going on a picnic and then to the zoo with my beautiful nieces. It will be a glorious day!

I also liked Shabby Apple on FB! Thanks for the giveaway!
I’d wear the Champs Elysees for when I’m out on a date in Paris with a studly diplomat who buys me chocolate crepes. This is after I have my baby, obviously.
Maternity dresses! Finally! I’m digging the Oh Baby and the Neopolitan. I’d wear them on any old average day, just to make myself feel better than I do kicking around in baggy maternity pants and oversized tops.
I’d pick the Lighthouse dress and wear it on a summer date with my husband!

I’d wear the Joie de Vivre everywhere, especially work.

Wow, how to choose! There are too many awesome dresses on this site. My favorite so far is the Maple. I would wear it when I want to be sassy – date night with my BFF is what I’m thinking. Love!
I’m pregnant, so “Better than Sweets”
Really like this website and can’t wait to browse more.
I answered the questions about my shape and it spit out some suggestions for me.
My favorite dress so far is:
LA NOCHE NEGRA
Looks like I could nurse in it pretty easily too.
Maybe I could finally wear an actually dress while I’m with my baby!
I like the malt shop dress!

A+ is my favorite (I love a shirt dress) and woud be perfect with my 10th High School reunion this May
ok, I liked Shabby Apple on FB … I have 2 dressses from them that I LOVE. For my options to reply to this post, it would be hard to choose from: The Red Queen for a luncheon I’m chairing in late March, I’m Late I’m Late for a wedding, A+ to work , Inca Trail to dinner w/ the Hub, Piazza Novona for lazy summer days when I don’t want to shave my legs, Oh La La for work or play, and more, more, more
I have been eyeing “The Red Queen” for weeks! I even pinned it on pinterest! My brother is getting married in Utah in June an this dress is sassy yet modest enough that I won’t feel uncomfortably exposed. That pretty much goes for all their fabulous dresses. Yay for showing less skin and still being sexy!
Just “liked” Shabby Apple on FB and noticed that my dress of choice is their current profile pic!
Love the shirt collar maternity dress. It would be nice to have something maternity to wear that wasn’t borrowed, shapeless, and dingy. I can see it now- going out to eat with my husband and feeling confident going to a place that did not advertise kid meal toys in the window…:)
i liked Shabby Apple on fb. fingers crossed!
I’ll gladly take the Chickaree dress and wear it to dinner with my husband, to church, to the coffee shop on Monday mornings and, it’s entirely possible, to sleep.
MULHOLLAND i would wear it out for a dinner date with my husband..
