I looovveee everything Stokke makes... the stroller, the crib, the high chair.. ALL of it
But the high chair is awesome, my son still likes using it, as opposed to the other traditional looking one at grandma's in which he throws a fit because "its for a baby"

We love our Tripp Trapp. Our girls (now 9 and 5 years old) love it so much that we have to set up a schedule for when each of them uses it: 5 year old (m-f) and 9 year old (sat-sun). Crazy, right? I'm sure they'll be fighting over who gets to take it to college.

We had a hand-me-down Svan (with tray) that worked for awhile until the boy started refusing to go in it when he was maybe 15 months old - ? We tried to push it up to the table (with the guard on but no tray) but eventually moved to a booster seat strapped on a regular kitchen chair (still with tray). Now that he is over 2 and much sturdier on a chair, maybe we'll bring the Svan back and use it as a tall chair pushed up the table. It would be nice to have him join the family meal!

We are huge Stokke fans and have Tripp Trapps for our 4.5 and 1yo boys. We also had the Newborn seat for our little one when he was born, although I don't think it's available in the US. That seat meant Oscar was at our table with us from literally Day One, which we all loved very much, every day. We have the Tripp Trapp play tray that sticks to the table, but I think an after-market clip-on tray defeats part of the main specialness of the Tripp Trapp which is that the kids joins the family at the table. I love these chairs though, and look forward to many many more years of them.

We love our Tripp trapps here, my son was not ready to move on when my daughter arrived hence we have 2 with no thought of moving them out of them anytime soon.

We have an Ikea antilop at grandma's house, another high chair worth every penny, all $40 of them. (he he) (I know it's cheaper elsewhere) though I wouldn't want it as my only high chair.
